Service Description

Many new skis come with a rail or system track already fitted to the top sheet. There are no holes to drill, but the toe and heel pieces still need mounting to the rail correctly and setting up to you before the skis are safe to ski on. We fit your toe and heel units onto the rail system to the right position for your boot sole length and lock them down to the manufacturer's specification. We then check and set the forward pressure, and adjust the DIN release value based on your height, weight, age, boot sole length and skiing ability, or to a specific setting if you already know what you ski on. What's included Toe and heel pieces mounted onto your existing rail system Bindings positioned to your exact boot sole length Forward pressure checked and set DIN adjusted to your height, weight, age and ability, or to your own specification Final function and safety check Which service do I need? If your skis already have a rail, track or system plate fitted, this is the one to book. If your skis have a flat top sheet and the bindings need screwing directly into the ski, book our Drill and Mount Bindings service instead. Send us a photo if you're not sure and we'll tell you which it is. Please bring the boots you'll be skiing in, or let us know your boot sole length in mm (it's printed on the side of the heel). Fitted by a former ski racer and qualified technician.
